Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida

Surf, sand and space shuttle. Having been down three times, I can consider myself exceptionally fortunate; but at least once in your life, treat yourself to a sunset jog down Cocoa Beach before witnessing a space shuttle launch.

No painting, no novel, no symphony, no great piece of cinema or architecture compares to the beauty of the Space Shuttle towering & illuminated. And there is nothing mankind can witness that is as beautiful or as powerful as the launch of human beings into space.

New Website Launched

June 12, 2009

Dear All,

I’m back from Siberia and – after long delay – the unintentional interregnum from Congress and policy has given me enough time to finally finish a side project I’ve been promising many of you. That’s right, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP have come together in perfect harmony; my new website is finally up.

I’ll be backdating entries to this blog to fill in photos from the last few years. In the meantime, click on the thumbnails for larger versions, peruse and enjoy. It’s certainly been long enough in the coming.
